MYRTLE BEACH, S.C.June 5, 2011;-Sophie LaMontagne of TLC's "DC Cupcakes" waves at the crowd while sitting in a roughly 1,000 pound convertible car at the 60th Annual Sun Fun Festival in Myrtle Beach, S.C.

Sophie and her sister Katherine Kallinis created the cupcake car using 400 pounds of batter, 300 pounds of frosting and 3,000 cupcakes, to commemorate the festivals first annual convertible car show.

The Myrtle Beach area, popularly known as the Grand Strand, stretches from Little River to Pawleys Island, comprising 12 distinct cities along the South Carolina coast.
