Record Isuzu D-MAX Ute Sales In May

EAGLE FARM, AUSTRALIA – June 3, 2011:Isuzu Ute Australia’s D-MAX one-tonne ute range sales continue to climb steadily with a record 624 retailed in May, a 73 per cent increase over May 2010 and 41.7 per cent up year-over-year to date, despite some current stock shortages due to the Japanese tsunami.

This was the second 600+ month for the D-MAX, eclipsing its previous best of 612 in March, according to industry statistician VFACTS.

Notable stats include in 4x4 outselling Mazda BT50 and more than doubling Great Wall and in 4x2 equalling Colorado.

The top-spec LS-U 4x4 crew ute was again the most popular in the D-MAX range in which around 80 per cent of sales were 4x4s.
