Motorsports Brand News - Mobil1 Sponsoring June 14th Car Swap Between Hamilton And Stewart At The Glen

Watkins Glen, May 31, 2011: Mobil 1, the world’s leading synthetic motor oil, is bringing together World Champion Formula One driver Lewis Hamilton and two-time NASCAR Sprint Cup Series Champion Tony Stewart to swap race cars at legendary Watkins Glen International on Tuesday, June 14.

The event will feature Hamilton taking laps in Stewart’s No. 14 Mobil 1/Office Depot Chevrolet, before Stewart climbs into the cockpit of the team Vodafone McLaren Mercedes MP4-24. The car swap will take place on the long course at The Glen, with the drivers experiencing the 3.4-mile, 11-turn lap course as a pair in their respective cars before switching cars and testing their skills individually.
