Modena, 25 May 2011: Ferrari announced on Tuesday that Aldo Costa has relinquished his position as technical director to take on new responsibilities within the company. The team also unveiled a new three-part structure for their technical department.

Pat Fry will become the director of Ferrari’s chassis department, whilst Corrado Lanzone will take charge of production. Luca Marmorini, meanwhile, will retain responsibility for the engine and electronics division. All three will report directly to Ferrari team principal Stefano Domenicali.

The Italian outfit have claimed just one podium finish so far this season and are currently third in the constructors’ table, 110 points adrift of championship leaders Red Bull. Ferrari will be back on track - alongside their rivals - at the forthcoming Monaco round, which gets underway on Thursday.
