TOPEKA, May 24, 2011: SCCA Pro Racing’s Board of Directors announced today that its Chairman, Tom Campbell, will continue in his role of President through the remainder of 2011.

Campbell took the role of Interim President in January, while a search was made for a full-time replacement.

“There have been a number of organizational and legal issues that the company has been working through, and it is in the best interest for the corporation to retain continuity in the leadership of Pro Racing at this time,” said Director Mike Lewis on behalf of the Board. “With the resolution of these items, as well as strategic planning for the future of the company, will come the criteria for the new leadership in the future.”

"We are working to make significant improvement in Pro Racing's performance of services to our customers and the competitors," Campbell said. "We are also bringing in additional business to help secure our future. I am looking forward to building a solid business plan for the future and it is shaping up nicely for next year. We are proud to have the new F1000 Grand Prix Series select us for their sanctioning body in 2012 and we are in discussion with other opportunities as well. 2011 is turning out to be a year of change for SCCA Pro Racing. I am pleased with the progress but there is still much to be done."
