Barber Series - Rounds 5 & 6 Preview

Lakeville, May. 24, 2011: In just two days, the racers of the BFGoodrich/Skip Barber National presented by Mazda head to Lime Rock Park in Lakeville, Connecticut for Rounds 5 and 6 of the sixteen race season. The series will be racing Memorial Day weekend in conjunction with GrandAm at the historic 1.53-mile, seven turn road course.

At the previous event at Virginia International Raceway, Thomas McGregor claimed championship points lead from Brandon Newey, who is a mere two points behind the leader. Approaching Rounds 5 and 6, the battle for the championship is close and tight, with only 15 points separating fifth from first place.
