BENNINGTON, VT--April 29, 2011: Hemmings Motor News, the world's most respected classic and collector car magazine, and ClassicCars.com, the world's largest online classic vehicle marketplace, today announced that the companies have been working closely to leverage each other's assets and expertise. The companies are working together to create engaging and industry-leading new services by combining content from Hemmings' widely respected editorial content with ClassicCars.com's online audience.

The first such service involves content from Hemmings Motor News integrated into ClassicCars.com. Beginning this week, ClassicCars.com visitors will see links to Hemmings articles alongside search results and vehicle listings. The articles are targeted to the make and model of the user's search and are drawn from Hemmings' print publications, its website, and its blog.

"This collaboration simply makes sense for both companies," said Hemmings CEO Jim Menneto. "We are taking the strengths of each organization to create a powerful resource for our consumers."

"Bringing in content with the historical richness of Hemmings Motor News to the largest online selection of classic vehicles creates a whole and true marketplace for enthusiasts and hobbyists," said ClassicCars.com CEO Roger Falcione. "With this arrangement, both companies and the auto enthusiast audience win."

The companies also announced that they are collaborating on a media project to be launched later this year, details of which will be announced in the coming weeks.
