Robby Gordon Richmond Preview

Charlotte, April 28, 2011: Robby Gordon Motorsports has a busy weekend ahead as the finale of the Fast Five movie promotion takes place at Richmond International Raceway this weekend. In a promotional partnership with Dodge Motorsports, Gordon has been running the Fast Five paint scheme on his #7 Dodge Charger for the last four races, promoting the April 29th premiere.

“Richmond is a track I love going to; I really like racing under the lights. When we first started Robby Gordon Motorsports, we had our first Nationwide win here, so it is always exciting to come back! We have the Fast Five promotion with Dodge and Universal in Richmond this weekend, and we’ve got a lot of fun things planned. I’d like to put the No. 7 Fast Five Dodge Charger R/T up front in qualifying and get a good finish for Dodge, our VIP guests and fans,” says Robby Gordon.

As part of the promotion, the first 200 fans that registered have the opportunity to see a special Fast Five movie viewing with Robby Gordon on Saturday, April 30, in Richmond, VA at Movieland at Boulevard Square. Fans will receive a commemorative ticket and photo opportunity with Gordon at a private meet and greet session prior to the movie. All 200 fans will automatically be registered in a grand prize drawing that includes four VIP credentials to the NASCAR Sprint Cup Series race on April 30 at 7:30 pm, honorary pit crewmember status and a $200 shopping spree at the Robby Gordon Motorsports souvenir trailer.

Robby Gordon doesn’t do anything that doesn’t involve speed…including his new sponsor, SPEED Energy. “That’s what makes promoting the Fast Five movie so exciting for me, like the movie, my lifestyle revolves around SPEED,” says Gordon. “It has been a lot of fun promoting the release at the tracks this month; I really excited to see the movie with our guests on Saturday!” Gordon continues.
