ASHEVILLE, NC--April 28, 2011: Altech-Eco Corporation of Asheville, North Carolina announced today that they have obtained a Certificate of Conformity (COC) from the EPA for their DEDICATED 2011 Ford E-Series 5.4L compressed natural gas (CNG) conversion system. The 'Dedicated' system means that the vehicle runs entirely on 100% natural gas, and needs absolutely zero gasoline ever.

Altech-Eco's EPA approved Dedicated 2011 CNG E-Series conversion system converts the E-150, E-250 & E-350 Series Vans to run exclusively on CNG, and the system is totally complete and includes manufacturer-rated CNG cylinders with fuel storage capacity starting at of 21.2 GGE (Gas Gallon Equivalent) and an extended option of 31.6 GGE's, with a driving range of 240 - 480 miles depending on fuel tank size. The E-Series is perfect for many businesses like Taxi Fleets, Fortune 1000 Corporations, Airports and Municipalities, Wine or Flower Merchants, Catering and Delivery Services, Sports Enthusiasts, and also residential consumers. The CNG conversion system for the 2011 Ford E-Series is now available at select participating Ford dealerships and approved aftermarket conversion facilities, or by contacting Altech-Eco directly.

By using Altech-Eco's EPA-approved CNG alternative fuel natural gas systems, US consumers will have the opportunity not only to help the environment but also to significantly reduce dependency on foreign oil, while saving significant money at the fuel pump. CNG is cheaper as a fuel and has been proven to produce significantly less harmful emissions of pollutants like nitrogen oxides (NOx), particulate matter (PM), carbon dioxide (CO2), hydrocarbons (UHC), carbon monoxide (CO), and sulfur oxides (SOx) as compared to gasoline or diesel fuel.

Altech-Eco is a recognized leader in the development of EPA-Certified alternate fuel systems that convert vehicles from gasoline operation to natural gas (CNG) operation. The firm is a division of privately held TransEco Energy, which is not yet publicly traded. Contact Altech-Eco at 828-654-8300 for inquiries, to purchase, or for a list of approved installation facilities; or simply visit www.altecheco.com. Altech-Eco Conversion Systems are produced exclusively by Altech-Eco and are not a Ford Motor Company manufactured product.
