SAE International Expands Professional Development Courses to Europe

WARRENDALE, PA--April 27, 2011: In keeping with its continued goal of providing access to automotive engineering education, SAE International will be conducting several professional development courses in Europe this fall. The courses will be conducted in Birmingham, England,19 -- 23 September, 2011 and Turin, Italy, 31 October -- 8 November, 2011. The courses will be taught by industry professionals recognized as experts in their technology areas who are familiar with the process of mobility engineering.

A wide array of topics will be covered, including battery systems, product design, automotive development, costs and finance, simulation systems and more. The courses will familiarize experienced and new engineers with the latest technological trends in automotive engineering. The programs are developed to help develop industry expertise for individuals or corporations wishing to expand their skills. These courses are directly applicable to different parts of the automotive engineering process. With the rapidly changing landscape of the automotive business, learning new skills and trends is immensely beneficial. SAE International's Professional Development program offers a regular schedule of courses on topics and technologies that are relevant to European industry. As with all SAE seminars, instructors are practicing engineers, retired engineers, or university faculty who come to the classroom with content expertise, industry experience, and on-the-job know how.
