MILTON KEYNES, UNITED KINGDOM – April 22, 2011: Last week’s Commercial Vehicle show at the NEC in Birmingham proved very successful for Volkswagen Commercial Vehicles with higher levels of sales enquiries and test drive requests received than the last time it exhibited at the show in 2008.

The Volkswagen Commercial Vehicle stand was one of the brightest and busiest at the show with attractions such as the premiere of the first UK Amarok pick-up, the new Caddy and Transporter ranges, plus entertainment provided by the opportunity to play darts with world class darts champions, James Wade and Mark Webster.

‘We were very pleased to see so many people at the CV Show, and it has certainly proved a great success for Volkswagen Commercial Vehicles,’ said Simon Elliott, Director, Volkswagen Commercial Vehicles UK. ‘It’s fantastic to see the commercial vehicle market recovering so well, which created a very positive feel to the show,’ he continued.
