DAF Trucks Displayed at Shanghai Auto Show

SHANGHAI--April 20, 2011: PACCAR showcased its premium DAF product line at the Auto Shanghai exhibition, the world's largest international automotive show. "PACCAR has a 100-year history in China," said Dan Sobic, executive vice president. "The Auto Shanghai event offers an excellent opportunity to exhibit industry leading DAF vehicles to Chinese commercial vehicle customers."

The DAF vehicles on display include the LF series for urban distribution applications, the versatile CF series for regional and vocational applications and the flagship XF105 for longer haulage. All DAF vehicles are equipped with PACCAR engines. PACCAR's engines have been honored with the 'Bus Engine of the Year' award at Busworld Asia for five consecutive years."China is the largest truck market in the world and PACCAR is looking forward to expanding its presence in China," added Sobic. DAF is the leading on-highway tractor manufacturer in Europe. DAF trucks are sold and serviced by a network of over 1,000 independent dealer locations worldwide.
