Tesla Motors Announces Date for First Quarter 2011 Results

PALO ALTO, CA--April 18, 2011: Tesla Motors, Inc. announced today that it will release its financial results for the first quarter ended March 31, 2011, after market close on Wednesday, May 4, 2011. Tesla management will hold a webcast at 2:00 p.m. Pacific Daylight Time (5:00 p.m. Eastern Daylight Time) to review and discuss the Company's results.

Approximately two hours after the call, a digital recording of the conference call will be available for a period of two weeks following the date of the call. To access the recording, please dial in to one of the following numbers using the conference ID shown.

The webcast will also be archived on the Company's website for a period of one year following the date of the call.
