Tickets Available For New-look Centennial Victory Awards Celebration May 30

INDIANAPOLIS, April 15, 2011: Tickets for the general public are available now for the Centennial Victory Awards Celebration presented by Ice Miller LLP on Monday, May 30. The gala will honor the winner of the 100th Anniversary Indianapolis 500 and salute the close of the Indianapolis Motor Speedway's Centennial Era.

The black-tie celebration will take place at a new location, the Grand Ballroom at the JW Marriott Indianapolis hotel in downtown Indianapolis. Doors open at 5 p.m., with dinner at 6 p.m. and awards at 7 p.m.

Tickets are available for $125, $150 and $200 per person, based on proximity to the stage. Tables seat 10.

To order tickets, call the IMS Ticket Office at (800) 822-4639 or (317) 492-6700. Orders received after Monday, May 16 will be held for pickup at the IMS Ticket Office, or at the Grand Ballroom on the night of the Celebration.

The winner of the 100th Indianapolis 500 on Sunday, May 29 and other drivers will receive awards and honors at the Centennial Victory Awards Celebration. All 33 drivers in the starting field will be seated on stage, and past Indianapolis 500 winners and legends also will participate in the ceremonies.

A variety of videos and other multimedia also will provide color and excitement to the evening.

Ice Miller, one of the largest Indianapolis-based law firms with additional offices in Chicago, Washington, D.C. and DuPage County, Ill., has represented IMS on a variety of transactions and other legal matters since the 1930s, including Harry Ice's representation of Anton "Tony" Hulman, who purchased the facility Nov. 14, 1945.

Ice Miller is the presenting sponsor of the Celebration, while Apex-Brasil is a partner.

2011 Indianapolis 500 tickets: Tickets are on sale for the 100th Anniversary Indianapolis 500, "The Most Important Race in History," on Sunday, May 29, 2011 at Indianapolis Motor Speedway.

Race Day ticket prices start at just $30. Fans can buy tickets online at www.imstix.com, by calling the IMS ticket office at (317) 492-6700, or (800) 822-INDY outside the Indianapolis area, or by visiting the ticket office at the IMS Administration Building at the corner of Georgetown Road and 16th Street between 8 a.m.-5 p.m. (ET) Monday-Friday.

Children 12 and under will receive free general admission to any IMS event in 2011 when accompanied by an adult general admission ticket holder.
