COLESHILL, UNITED KINGDOM – April 13, 2011: Subaru’s Legacy Tourer, launched in 2009 gets a new addition to the family with the introduction of the new ES Nav.

For just £21,995 on the road the new ES Nav joins the five strong range as the entry point model and yet still boasts a specification list to shame other more expensive competition in its segment.

The ES Nav comes with a 150PS 2.0 litre petrol engine and with the choice of a six-speed manual gearbox or Subaru’s optional Lineartronic CVT transmission.

As with all Subarus, the Legacy’s permanent Symmetrical All-Wheel Drive system and horizontally opposed Boxer engine with its light weight and low centre of gravity ensures a unique and special blend of driving engagement, durability, comfort and safety.

A full colour satellite navigation system is fitted as standard, which has a long list of features including touch screen control, CD/DVD playback, integrated Bluetooth hands-free connectivity and steering wheel mounted controls.

Other standard features on the ES Nav model include automatic headlights and windscreen wipers, remote control central locking, dual zone climate control, one-touch fold down rear seats, alloy wheels, electrically adjusted driver’s seat and a Thatcham category 1 alarm and immobiliser.

Subaru’s 150PS engine produces 196Nm of torque. The six-speed manual Legacy ES takes 9.8 seconds to 62mph while the maximum speed is 120mph. It returns 32.8mpg on a combined cycle and produces 199g/km CO2.

The CVT model has a 0-62mph time of 11.3 seconds and a maximum speed of 120mph. It produces 187g/km of CO2 and has a combined fuel consumption cycle of 34.9mpg.

Built on an all new platform and with significantly increased dimensions including an 80mm longer wheelbase, the latest Legacy Tourer has a much bolder stance and greatly heightened on-road presence over its predecessor. It also has a completely re-engineered all-steel unitary structure that delivers the highest crash safety performance and was recently awarded a 5-Star Euro NCAP crash safety rating.

The new Legacy ES Nav is on sale and available to order now.
