AutoVision International Film and Multimedia Festival Calls for Entries

MUNICH - March 31, 2011: TV & cinema commercials, TV programs, brand and corporate websites, interactive and multimedia productions, corporate videos, informational films and product presentation films are now being accepted for the 10th jubilee edition of AutoVision, the International Film and Multimedia Festival for the Automotive Industry, Winners will receive a prestigious "OttoCar" trophy in gold, silver and black!

New OttoCar Grand Prix
We are proud to introduce a new OttoCar Grand Prix especially for the interactive and multimedia categories in addition to the OttoCar Grand Prix for classical linear audiovisual productions. New categories such as "Social Media", "Online/Mobile Games"(in terms of marketing tools), "Corporate Social Responsibility" as well as "Best us of 3D" and "Making of" among the "Production Arts & Crafts" categories represent the contemporary adaptations the AutoVision Festival has gone through. the International Film and

"We find ourselves in the midst of a tremendously fast moving era of audiovisual interactive and multimedia communication that evolves almost on a daily basis," said Alexander V. Kammel, Filmservice International President and AutoVision Festival Director. He added, "The "Minimalism" viral campaign by "MINI" that received the AutoVision Grand Prix in 2009, was the first ever production from the interactive and multimedia online category to win a Grand Prix. This award pointed out the vast potential of these productions within the automotive industry. Therefore the AutoVision Festival not only extends those categories but also introduces a new OttoCar Grand Prix especially for those productions."

Since 1993, the AutoVision Festival takes place biennially on the first day of the world's largest event for passenger cars, the International Motor Show IAA in Frankfurt, with support of the VDA - German Association of the Automotive Industry. Ever since then AutoVision ranks among the best festivals for film and multimedia productions from the automotive Industry (automobiles, motorcycles, commercial vehicles, road safety, suppliers, etc...). The Awards Ceremony will be held on September 15th 2011 in Frankfurt, Germany.

Entries Information
Visit the event website for complete information http://www.auto-vision.org/ and online entry form to submit your works in 48 possible categories. All categories have been chosen very carefully to comprehensively cover all areas of businesses the participants may operate in. You may submit your works in more than one category.

All productions that have been aired/produced/online after January 1st, 2009 and are sent to us until May 16th, 2011 are eligible for submission.

AutoVision offers the unique possibility for students from all over the world to present themselves and their works on a worldwide stage. Furthermore, we offer every student a 50% reduction of entry fees in all categories!
