LONDON – March 28, 2011: Diversified technology company 3M has revamped its dedicated website for the automotive aftermarket at www.3Mbodyshop.co.uk to reflect changing market dynamics and priorities.

The site is now split into three sections, covering bodyshop supplies, rapid repair supplies - including SMART (small and medium area repair technology), local area repair, and alloy wheel repair - and the 3M Car Care range of professional car care products.

As well as detailed product information and a downloadable catalogue, a range of videos and interactive training modules have been added to the bodyshop section.

These complement 3M’s extensive range of process boards and ensure the availability of practical advice and support in varied formats depending on customer need.

Fiona Bodell, Marketing Manager for 3M’s Automotive Aftermarket Division, explained: “We are finding more and more that those involved in automotive repair have a need for 24/7 access - not just to detailed product information but to practical advice on getting the best out of those products.

“Our enhanced website is fully interactive with an extensive range of training modules and videos aimed at bodyshop operatives and SMART repairers covering key process steps and helping to guarantee ‘right first time’ repairs.”
