Popular Magazine-Format Automotive Show to Air on KHON-2 Starting April 3

HONOLULU - March 22, 2011: Hawaii's original automotive TV magazine, Ohana Road, is set to return to the airwaves when it re-launches on Sunday, April 3, 2011, on KHON-2. Hosted by American Idol's Jordan Segundo and actress-model Rachel Pacarro, Ohana Road will continue to feature a lineup of original and acquired programming that includes new car test drives, consumer information, historical highlights, racing and interviews with celebrities.

Sponsored by Aloha Kia, Ohana Road will air every Sunday at 5:30 p.m. on KHON-2 with a repeat broadcast on Saturdays at 3 p.m. "We're so pleased to be returning to local television, especially as the lead-in to the number-one news show on Sundays," said Executive Producer Bill Maloney.

The first episode of Ohana Road will include regular features such as New Cars, Car Mania, Concepts and Classics, Cars N Stars and Bunch of Maloney. Making a guest appearance will be Hawaii's own Jim Nabors, whose singing of Back Home Again in Indiana at the Indianapolis 500 each year is a high point of the event's opening ceremonies. Musician Kid Rock will make an appearance on the second episode.

With more than 200 shows as it goes into its sixth year, Ohana Road is the first homegrown automotive TV magazine to be aired in Hawaii. For more information, call (808) 947-7240 or www.ohanaroad.net.
