Suzuki GB PLC's new online store takes its proven wish list system - where customers created gear wish lists and were contacted by local dealers for fulfillment - a step further, working with authorised dealers to fulfill orders placed directly on the branded website. The online store allows customers to select their chosen product and complete the transaction with secure payment before handing the order to the nearest participating dealer for delivery to the customer.

"Giving customers the opportunity to complete the sales process online has been our goal since we added the wish list functionality to our parts and accessory website a couple of years back," said Suzuki GP PLC's Wayne Dye, General Manager of the Parts and Accessories Division. "With this system we are able to keep our dealer network involved, but also speed up the delivery process by selecting the closest dealer holding stock. On top of this, soon to be added will be our 'in-store pick-up' option, where customers can select and pay for larger items and visit the nearest dealer for collection or to arrange fitment."

The "in-store pickup" option will not only give end consumers the ability to pick up their purchase at a local dealer as soon as the same day, but will drive additional purchases for Suzuki GB PLC's trusted dealers.
