Knowledge Base: Chevrolet Buyer’s Guide

February 20, 2011: Recently launched on The Engadget Show, Chevy MyLink plans to take media personalization to a new level with a series of high-tech features. While retaining all the capabilities of standard entertainment units, the system provides an enhanced hands-free voice control system that initiates phones calls and selects music and media from portable MP3 players and smart phones. Drivers can also create customized radio stations using Pandora internet radio and access thousands of audio programming choices.

It also features a seven inch, high-resolution, full-color touch screen display that makes media selection easy to navigate. Chevy MyLink will be available beginning with the 2012 Chevrolet Volt and Equinox this fall before expanding to other vehicles over the next 18 months.
