ALBUQUERQUE, N.M., Feb. 15, 2011 -- ENERPULSE, Inc. today announced the addition of another member to the sustainable energy team employing the PulstarŪ ultra high-power replacement for spark plugs. The Hybrid Haven, of Petaluma, CA, has joined the ranks of the dedicated to reduce our dependence on foreign oil and clean up automotive emissions.

The PulstarŪ pulse plug technology employs intelligent energy management to improve the automotive ignition system electrical-to-plasma transfer efficiency from less than 1% to over 50%. This significant increase couples more ignition energy to the fuel charge, improving combustion efficiency and reducing fuel consumption and total emissions by as much as 10%. Constructed to look like a spark plug, PulstarŪ incorporates a current peaking capacitor to discharge over 1,000,000 watts of ignition power as compared to the 50 watts from a conventional spark plug.
