Shame On You Steven Chu For Allowing An American Company That Developed and Built 400 HP 110MPG E85(Flex-fuel) Engines to Close; While U.S Government Invests In Chinese Companies and Other "Continue The Gasoline Status-quo" Schemes

Napoleon, OH January 19, 2011; Douglas Pelmear President, founder and Chief engineer of HP2g sent us this sad release announcing the closing of the HP2g Facility in Wauseon, Ohio

The HP2g is a revolutionary designed V-8 Electric Hybrid Engine, 400 HP on E-85 (renewable, sustainable and Made in the U.S.A Flex-fuel) that delivers 110 MPG, eliminating the need for Americans to continue to get screwed by Big Oil.

The HP2g 400 HP on E-85 (ethanol fuel) engine exceeds the EPA's 2016 emissions requirements.

HP2g was started with the intention of changing transportation of the world and putting Americans back to work. Now we are down to needing funds.

In the past few months we accomplished:

• International Patent Pending
• Prototype and Testing of Electronic Control
• Manufacture in place for HP2g Electronic Control (USA Company)
• Displayed at SEMA Las Vegas Nov. 2010 (New Product)and recieved purchase orders for HP2g Electronics called Flex Fuel Chip

  As this project has progressed, we have applied for loans from local banks. The State of Ohio was willing to help fund the HP2g project with a bank willing to finance, but the bank did not meet the required deadline in time.

  It is to my disappointment, the US Banking System is willfully doing little than spending our money and they are not investing in small businesses. The banks forgot that their money comes from the depositors. Our government would not have to finance banks and businesses if the banks were doing their job! Need I say, the banking system has failed us all?

  The HP2g engine is more than just an idea, it’s a reality. It’s a solution for independence from oil and it would create jobs, but without funding it is just another idea shelved. I want to thank everyone involved in the HP2g Project for their hard work and support.

  This company's inability to raise capital is a direct result of the well planned and well financed campaign to elevate electric vehicles to "our savior" status while minimizing the potential and importance of E85, the invention and proof of a 400HP 110MPG flex-fuel engine, and the American entrepreneur behind it. In a country, that in the past, has made heroes out of inventors, and rewarded them with commercial success, today inventor and patriot Doug Pelmear, a man who has invested his own capital and 5 years of his life to invent, build and successfully prototype his 110MPG hybrid flex-fuel engine, that if installed in tens of millions of cars and trucks would help rid our nation from its subservience to OPEC, cannot raise even the minimum capital needed to keep the doors open in Ohio.

  While at this same time Secretary Chu's energy department is giving billions of our dollars to companies with the hope(hype) of changing physics and developing "new battery technology, which in our opinion (and many others) can never become the ubiquitous replacement for gasoline, but continues to be touted as a major element in our "quest" to get our country off of oil..."new battery technology" that if/when discovered will be sent across the Pacific to be produced and profited from by Chinese manufacturers...wow!

  How can this be you ask?, What else could it be I ask? It is obvious to me that our U.S. State Department has the power and air cover from the President to even "get" a smart guy like Steven Chu's eye's off of a 100% American drop-in replacement for gasoline, and is forcing him to focus his attention and expend his budget on the major diversion from near to mid-term (or never)success, electric vehicles.
