Neilsen Rating Reports Improved Figures For Lucas Oil Off Road On CBS Sports - VIDEO ENHANCED
Corona, December 2, 2010: Over the holiday weekend, the third addition of the 2010 Lucas Oil Off Road Racing Series aired on CBS Sports Prime Time Network Television.
The most recent broadcast took place on Sunday 11/28, 5:00-6:00pm Est. and despite the time slot going up against prime time heavy weights like "NFL on Fox" Lucas Oil Off Road Racing garnered an impressive Nielsen Household Rating of 1.2%. This remarkable figure equates to roughly 1.39 million TVs (approximately 2.78 million viewers) that were tuned into the exciting sport of short course racing. A 70% increase over any previous short course off road race ever.
