Honda Unveils Small Car Prototype

TULLAMARINE, AUSTRALIA – November 29, 2010: Honda is set to showcase a new small car prototype at the Thailand International Motor Expo beginning tomorrow, to be introduced into the Indian market in 2011.

Unveiled at the Delhi Auto Expo, the new prototype is priced around AUD$11,000. Honda will develop a model of the car exclusively for India’s growing small car market and will also develop a model for the Thai market that complies with the country’s high fuel efficiency standards.

A part of the Honda New Small Concept, the vehicle will be engineered with a wide platform and stable centre of gravity to create a highly efficient compact car with seating for five people.

Responding to a growing market, Honda will strive to provide small-sized vehicles at an affordable price.
