TULLAMARINE, AUSTRALIA – November 17, 2010: Three out of the top five most fuel efficient vehicles in the U.S are manufactured by Honda, according to the Environmental Protection Agency (EPA).

Continuing its award winning form, Honda’s sporty CR-Z came in at number four with its automatic transmission and number ten for the manual. The CR-Z is the world’s first hybrid with a 6-speed manual gearbox.

Proving the innovation and environmental credentials of Honda’s hybrids, the Honda Civic Hybrid and Honda Insight tied for third place on the list, giving Honda a total of four models in the coveted top ten.

In addition, the 2000 Honda Insight remains the most fuel-efficient vehicle ever rated by the EPA, with five of the top ten most fuel efficient cars produced since 1984 being Honda vehicles.
