WEYBRIDGE, UNITED KINGDOM – November 5, 2010: Since its re-launch in April 2009 Kia’s Approved Used car programme has gone from strength to strength with sales in 2010 showing a 67% increase.

The Kia Approved Used car programme has achieved record sales of over 5,000 cars with still two months left to the end of the year. David McCluskey National Used Vehicle Sales Manager, Kia Motors (UK) Ltd., commented “We have reached our sales target already with two months still to go and I’m positive that we will have a strong finish to 2010”.

“Our strong sales network of 153 approved used car dealers- which accounts for over 95% of our network – are doing a great job”.

Used sales have rocketed for the ever popular compact city car the Picanto achieving an amazing 244% sales increase from 2009 whilst the family-sized hatchback cee’d range has seen sales rise by 119% in the same period.

With new car sales on the increase Kia’s Approved Used car programme is certainly not lagging behind in the sales stakes, all used cars are available with the warranty topped up to the original level.

“It’s not just our new car seven year warranty that is grabbing headlines. This outstanding warranty is extended to all used cars, which makes the Kia used car programme one of the best available”

Kia’s seven year warranty is available on all new cars registered from 1st January 2010. All Approved Used cars benefit from warranties topped up to their original levels – whether that may be three, five or seven years according to model and date of registration.
