AUBURN, Calif.--ClipperCreek, Inc. is urging those interested in residential or public Charging Infrastructure to move now to take advantage of the 50% federal tax credit. The American Recovery and Reinvestment Tax Act of 2009 temporarily increased the credit for alternative fuel refueling property for property placed in service in 2009 and 2010, the credit is due to expire on December 31, 2010. Attempts by Congress to extend the credits have not been successful.

ClipperCreek has prepared for this outcome, with ample inventory, and can usually ship within one week.

“We are willing to guarantee that any of our industry leading, and automobile manufacturer approved, CS-40 products purchased in November will be delivered this year, or we will discount the amount of the tax credit,?? said Jason France, CEO of ClipperCreek. “The implementation of Charging Infrastructure is crucial to the success of the EV market and the industry is way behind.??

The tax credit, see IRS Form 8911, covers 50% of the cost of any electric vehicle charging infrastructure put into service this year, including hardware and installation, up to $2,000 for residential installations and $50,000 for commercial installations.

ClipperCreek encourages its customers to install their product with local licensed electricians.
