BOTANY, AUSTRALIA – October 13, 2010: Australian cyclist and Škoda Ambassador Jack Bobridge collected two gold medals in the men's 4,000 metres individual pursuit and in the Men’s Teams Pursuit at the Commonwealth Games in New Delhi.

Bobridge claimed his first gold ahead of New Zealander Jesse Sergeant and said after the win: “I've been striving now for the last couple of years to get an individual gold medal”.

With his impressive haul, the 21-year-old Bobridge is now looking forward to the London Olympics in 2012.

Head of Škoda Australia, Matthew Wiesner was enthusiastic about Jack’s performance.

“We are excited to see Jack achieve his goals in Delhi. He is a tough competitor and deserves every success,” said Mr Wiesner.

“Everyone in Škoda was pleased to see Jack collecting gold, it is a great achievement for a cyclist of his age.”

As part of the Škoda Ambassador program, Jack is driving the high-performance Octavia RS wagon, a vehicle he thoroughly enjoys as it fits well with his attitude to superior performance.
