LAS VEGAS - October 8, 2010: Two of the auto industry's top executives headline the speakers' agenda at the 2011 Consumer Electronics Show that takes place the first week of January.

Rupert Stadler, chairman of the board of management of AUDI AG, will deliver his keynote address at 11 a.m., Thursday, January 6, in the Las Vegas Hilton Theater. The 2011 show marks Audi’s first International CES keynote address. “Through Rupert Stadler’s leadership, Audi has become a global leader in the automotive industry, providing consumers with a high-quality driving experience through innovative design and technology,” said Gary Shapiro, president and CEO, CEA. “Advanced technology is at the heart of Audi’s DNA and is contributing to their continuing gains in global market share. We are excited to welcome Rupert to the CES stage and look forward to hearing his outlook on the future of Audi and the ongoing relationship between the consumer technology and automotive markets.”

Ford President and CEO Alan Mulally will deliver his keynote address at 11 a.m. on Friday, January 7; also in the Las Vegas Hilton Theater. Mulally will highlight new Ford in-vehicle connectivity and product innovations. As part of his remarks, Mulally will discuss the latest Ford breakthroughs in infotainment technologies and new vehicle innovations.

"It's an honor to be invited back to deliver a keynote address," Mulally said. "As we work to serve our customers with the very best cars and trucks with best-in-class, smart technology, the consumer electronics industry plays a really important role, and there's no better place to deliver technology news than the International CES." This marks Ford's third keynote address at International CES, where Ford last year received a "Best of CES" award from CNET and Popular Mechanics' Editor's Choice award for its MyFord Touch driver connect technology.
