53rd Annual San Francisco Auto Show Set for November 20-28, 2010




NORTHERN CALIFORNIA'S PREMIER AUTO SHOW TO FEATURE 2011 VEHICLES FROM THE WORLD'S MAJOR MANUFACUTURES


SAN FRANCISCO, CA - September 27, 2010: The San Francisco Chronicle|SFGate.com 53rd Annual International Auto Show, northern California's premier, largest and most spectacular auto show, will offer Bay Area residents their first opportunity to see the new 2011 model vehicles from the world’s major manufacturers, all in one place.

Supported by the California New Car Dealers Association, the International Auto Show, scheduled for Saturday, November 20 through Sunday, November 28 at San Francisco’s Moscone Convention Center, will feature more than 600 vehicles representing the work of 35 manufacturers for the year 2011 and beyond.

The San Francisco International Auto Show is the only auto show held regionally that lures the dazzling high-tech displays from the world’s major manufacturers. The show will have exhibits in the north and south halls, the Gateway and Esplanade Ballrooms plus the lower north and south lobby areas, filling the 1.2 million sq. ft. Moscone Center. It is expected to draw 350,000 spectators making it the largest exhibition of any kind in the greater Bay Area and the second largest auto show in the western United States.

Among the manufacturers exhibiting their 2011 products are: Acura, Aston Martin, Audi, Bentley, BMW, Buick, Cadillac, Chevrolet, Chrysler, Dodge, Ford, GMC, Honda, Hyundai, Infiniti, Jaguar, Jeep, KIA, Lamborghini, Land Rover, Lexus, Lincoln, Lotus, Mazda, Mini, Ram, Nissan, Rolls Royce, Saab, Scion, Subaru, Porsche, Toyota, Volkswagen and Volvo.

In addition to the 2011 model vehicles, the International Auto Show will feature alternative fuel and hybrid vehicles, the Academy of Art University Classic Car Collection, the Aftermarket Alley with tricked-out vehicles and aftermarket products, the AAA Greenlight Showcase, Dominator Hot Rods, racecars and provide a glimpse into the future with prototypes and concept vehicles. The Show will also have an auto accessory booth area and much more.

Show hours are:
Sunday, November 20 – Saturday, November 27: 10:00 a.m. – 10:00 p.m.
Sunday, November 28: 10:00 a.m. – 8:00 p.m.
