SLOUGH, UNITED KINGDOM – Sept 17, 2010: Alfa Romeo dealerships up and down the country are frothing the milk, bringing out the biscotti and will soon be opening their doors for the World’s Biggest Coffee Morning to support the MacMillan Cancer Trust on Friday 24 September.

The dealerships, based across the UK, are fully behind the record-breaking event along with the support of actress Tamzin Outhwaite, and are inviting members of the public to enjoy coffee and biscuits whilst taking in the surroundings of the Italian sporting car manufacturer’s showroom. Customers will be encouraged to make a small donation to the MacMillan Cancer Trust while enjoying the mid-morning treat, as the company plans to raise some much needed funds for the charity.

Staff will be on hand throughout to serve the authentic Italian delights, but will also be providing visitors with test drives of various Alfa Romeo models, including the brand new Giulietta and Mito Turismo Sport.

UK Brand Communications Manager, Damien Dally, commented: “We’re delighted to be a part of the MacMillan Coffee morning once again this year, and we’re keen to get as many people as possible down to our showrooms to help raise some money for this worthy cause. With some of Italy’s most exciting cars on display, we’re offering the perfect setting to enjoy a Latte or a Cappuccino.”

To enjoy your cup of coffee whilst raising money for the MacMillan Cancer trust, visit your local Alfa Romeo dealership on Friday 24 September. For more information visit www.alfaromeo.co.uk.
