BENSHEIM, GERMANY – September 3, 2010: At the 2010 Paris Motor Show (Mondial de l'Automobile 2010), which opens on 30 September, Suzuki Motor Corporation will be exhibiting the following automobiles:

New Swift

Suzuki provides a glimpse of its future at this year's Paris Motor Show. The highlight of the show is the all-new Swift.

Recently awarded a maximum, 5-star rating in the 2010 Euro NCAP safety performance test programme, the new Swift will be on sale throughout Europe this autumn.

The successor to the best-selling model in its line up has a sportier, more elegant design and a new petrol engine to deliver greater driving pleasure. Both – the new 1.2-litre petrol and the enhanced 1.3-litre diesel - offer lower fuel consumption and lower emissions.

A key feature is the new Engine Auto Stop Start System that highlights the company's focus on smart technology and efficient, elegant environmental responsibility. The Swift's characteristic wide treads and short wheelbase remain true to the much-loved original but enhanced front and rear suspensions bring better handling. The new body uses higher-strength steel for improved stiffness and lightness, helping to improve stability and comfort.

Kizashi sport grade

Another European Premiere in Paris is the Kizashi sport grade, Suzuki's new variant of its sleek and sophisticated sport sedan. A redesigned exterior and a lower ride height will deliver better aerodynamics and a lower centre of gravity for better grip and sharper handling. The sportier look is also enhanced by interior trim changes and 18" alloy wheels.
