Reichert and Henry Number One After Bowling Green

                BOWLING GREEN, Ky. (Aug. 30, 2010) - In the final results from Beech Bend Raceway Park and the NHRA Lucas Oil Drag Racing Series, Bill Reichert, Owosso, Mich., and Brent Henry, Breckenridge, Colo., took home the wins in Top Alcohol Dragster and Top Alcohol Funny Car respectively in the final race of the division. Reichert and Henry both currently sit in the number one position in the respective classes.
Reichert, worked his way through the field and ran 5.425 seconds at 259.36 mph in his final round victory over Richard Putz, Earlville, Iowa.
Henry qualified No. 2 and faced off against the No. 1 qualifier Ray Drew, Hales Corner, Wis., posting a winning run of 5.707 seconds, 256.21 mph in his '09 Charger.  Drew drove to a 5.693 second, 241.02 mph lap for his runner up finish.
Other racers visiting the winner's circle this weekend were David Billingsley, Decatur, Ill., in Comp Eliminator; Mike Crutchfield, Montgomery, Ala., in Super Stock; Luke Bogacki, Cedarville, Ill., in Super Comp; Edmond Richardson, Greenbrier, Tenn., in Stock Eliminator; David Tatum, Palmetto, Ga., in Super Gas; and Ken MacNicol, Hendersonville, Tenn., in Super Street.  In the division's Top Sportsman class it was Billy Vaughn, Knoxville, Tenn., taking the win while Dylan Stott, Columbus, N.C., won in Top Dragster.
While this is the final race in the NHRA North Central Division series, many of these racers will head to O'Reilly Raceway Park, for the Mac Tools U.S. Nationals which kicks off on Wednesday, Sept. 1 and runs through Labor Day, Sept. 6.  Racers heading to Indianapolis for the Labor Day event will be earning points toward the NHRA Lucas Oil National Championship.
