Off-Road Racers Unite to Raise Awareness for
Prader-Willi Syndrome

Bark River, MI (August 25,
2010) - When it comes to close competitive short-course off-road racing, the
TORC Super Stock Truck division is consistently the largest and most intense truck
racing week in and week out. After watching a Super Stock race, the average fan
would think that very few of the drivers get along with each other. Actually
the exact opposite is true, especially when it comes to supporting the
Beauchamp family's devotion to finding a cure to Prader-Willi Syndrome (PWS).
Luke Beauchamp, the young son of Tammy & Super Stock Truck competitor Scott
Beauchamp was born with PWS.

Prader-Willi Syndrome is an
uncommon genetic disorder that can cause poor muscle tone and a constant
feeling of hunger. The part of the brain that controls feelings of fullness or
hunger does not work properly in people with PWS. This syndrome inflicts
approximately 1:15,000.

When the sixteen TORC Super
Stock drivers hit the track on August 14 for some incredible door-to-door
racing in Bark River, Michigan, the hoods of each race truck were white along
with the slogans "PRADER-WILLI SYNDROME - Still hungry for a cure - Racing for
a cure."

"The Bark River Lions Club
have always supported our cause whenever we race at the track," commented Tammy
Beauchamp. "When the drivers joined our efforts, we were overwhelmed from the
support. We are fortunate to have a great support group around us, and
hopefully our efforts can help those less fortunate that are effected by
Prader-Willi. The ultimate goal is to find a cure for Prader-Willi Syndrome."

Currently there is no cure
