Renault Retail Group Appoints Stuart Walker As UK Managing Director

MAPLE CROSS, UNITED KINGDOM – Aug 19, 2010: Renault Retail Group UK has appointed Stuart Walker as its new Managing Director -following the recent promotion of Ian Plummer to the role of Renault UK Director, Commercial Operations.

Stuart, aged 60, has almost 29 years’ experience with Renault and has worked as the group’s Deputy Managing Director for the past four years. He will also head-up the group’s Nissan operations, as well as its used car franchise Autoworld.

Stuart started his career with Renault as sales manager at Renault Manchester, working his way up to Renault Retail’s Regional Director of the Midlands and then the Regional Director of the Midlands/North West.

In his spare time, he is a keen squash player and an avid Manchester City fan.

Stuart said: “I am thrilled to be taking over at the helm of Renault Retail and continuing the good work that was done under Ian Plummer’s leadership.
