SYDNEY – Aug 13, 2010: With only weeks left before National Jeep Jamboree 2010 registrations close, all Jeep owners should ensure this iconic biannual event does not pass them by.

Hosted by the Melbourne Jeep Owners Club with Jeep® as the key partner, the “Jambo” will be held from Thursday 30th September through to Sunday 3rd October based at Lardner Park near Warragul, Victoria.

On track to be the best “Jambo” ever, hundreds of Jeep owners will be thrilled with the four days of activity planned to ensure the entertainment of all. In addition to a large number of off-road trips for every level of experience, some of the activities set to treat Jeep enthusiasts at the Lardner Park base camp will include an on-site 4WD test track, trade alley, children’s activities, family orientated events and bands as well as wine and beer tasting for those who wish to unwind on conclusion of driving.

“The Jeep Jamboree is a fantastic opportunity to bring the Jeep community together”, said Craig Bradshaw, Chrysler Australia’s General Manager – Marketing and Product Strategy.

“This event will showcase many iconic Jeep vehicles, ranging from World War II Jeeps through to our current range of vehicles – such as Wrangler, Patriot, Cherokee and Grand Cherokee. It will be fantastic to see Jeep’s off-road capabilities and durability experienced at this event. This will truly be a celebration of everything Jeep.” concluded Bradshaw.

Discount rates still apply for a strictly limited time and the last chance to register attendance for the National Jeep Jamboree 2010 is 11th September, so interested Jeep owners should not delay. Further information can be found at www.jeepjamboree.com.au.
