Guests at New York City's Gansevoort hotels arrive in style onboard the Porsche Panamera 4S

ATLANTA - August 8, 2010: Porsche Cars North America, Inc. and the Gansevoort Hotel Group in New York City are redefining the concept of "room with a view" through an exclusive new transportation partnership. Beginning Aug. 15, guests at both the Gansevoort Hotel in Manhattan's Meatpacking District as well as the newest location on Park Avenue South can enjoy the journey and the views en route to the city's legendary locales in Porsche's roomy "sports car for four," the 2011 Porsche Panamera 4S.

Both locations will offer guests complimentary in-town car service and VIP airport transportation - a breeze for the first true sports car to easily accommodate four people and their travel gear. With Porsche's race-bred performance on tap, guests will be whisked to their destinations as fast as New York City traffic allows - or as leisurely as they wish for a memorable, fashionably-late arrival.

Innovative design is a hallmark of both brands. In the hospitality category, The Gansevoort Hotel Group pioneered the rooftop pool concept in New York City in 2004, and the highly anticipated Park Avenue South location is generating advance buzz for its architectural detail. In the automotive world, Porsche engineered the first-ever luxury segment sport sedan to combine performance, style and function in one potent package.

With precision performance and classic Porsche sports car lines curved around a generous four-passenger interior, the Panamera is the ideal complement to the Gansevoort guest's New York experience. Perfect for confidently carving through traffic or elegantly handling downtown cobblestone streets, the all-wheel drive Panamera also easily handles inclement weather.

"We're looking forward to transforming the perception of city driving for Gansevoort Hotel Group guests," says Detlev Von Platen, president and CEO, Porsche Cars North America. "Appreciating one of the world's greatest cities from the spacious interior of a Porsche Panamera is a great way to increase your pulse rate without adding an iota of stress."

"We are committed to providing our guests with an unparalleled hospitality experience from start to finish, and are thrilled to extend that philosophy to our choice of guest transportation," said Elon Kenchington, COO, Gansevoort Hotel Group.
