CARFAX And Michigan International Speedway Bring $0.99 Gas To Detroit On August 2

Livona, July 28, 2010: Carfax and its dealer customers are starting the week off on the right foot for Detroit-area commuters. On Monday, August 2 from 6-9am, drivers get $0.99 gas at the Livonia Mobil, located at 29321 8 Mile Road, in Livonia, Mich.

With the money saved, the average driver can commute an additional two weeks for free.

Carfax is sponsoring the “Show Me the CARFAX Race Weekend” at Michigan International Speedway Aug. 13-15. The weekend features the fifth NASCAR Nationwide Series CARFAX 250 on Aug. 14 and will be capped off by the second NASCAR Sprint Cup Series CARFAX 400 on Aug. 15. Commuters and race fans at the gas event will be the first to see the official pace car of the “Show Me the CARFAX Race Weekend” and tickets for both races will be available for purchase.
