BAODING, Hebei, China - 18 July, 2010: 400 more Haval H5 Euro Edition have been ready for shipment to Italy on early July. This is another big volume following the previous one of 600 units in April, which records another accomplishment Great Wall has achieved so far in EU market.

Haval H5 is a SUV of new generation by Great Wall. It has qualified itself to 49 strict EU homologation covering environment protection, safety, performance, etc, and being entitled to unlimited sales in the European Union. This shipment of Haval H5 is a part of the order of total 2002 units to Italy, another 1000 units to be shipped to Europe later in succession.

"There are many strict homologation standards and regulations for the cars to enter the European market especially on safety and environment protection. To step into the European market indicates the opening of the access to the whole world. As matter of fact, Great Wall Motors has always been dedicated to car export to the markets of Europe and America. In 2009 four of our new models attained the EU WVTA Certificate. At present we are planning to develop more new models, especially for the European market. Great Wall Motors is going gradually into Europe, one of the high-end markets" said Mr. Wang Jianlin, Vice General Manager of the International Sales Division.

The batch export of Haval SUV to the EU market is the outcome that Great Wall Motors has achieved towards its long-term policy to manufacture products with high quality. The excellent performance of GW Haval in the EU market, a benchmark market of the whole world, manifests the continuous quality improvement of Great Wall Motors vehicles as well as the big potential for Chinese automakers to sell cars in high-end markets.
