Marc J. Rauch, The Auto Channel's executive vice president and co-publisher, will deliver the closing presentation at the American Coalition for Ethanol Conference on August 5th in Kansas City, Missouri. Marc's speech, "Ethanol is the 1" will focus on what The Auto Channel feels are the divide and conquer tactics being used by the oil industry to keep alt fuels from general acceptance, along with what we believe are the biggest misconceptions and misinformation that the ethanol industry has to overcome in order for ethanol to become the primary engine fuel in North America. The Auto Channel has long been an outspoken supporter of alternative fuels and energy independence from foreign suppliers.

The American Coalition for Ethanol (ACE) is the grassroots voice of the U.S. ethanol industry, the nation's largest association dedicated to the production and use of ethanol. ACE is a non-profit, membership-based organization of more than 1,500 members nationwide, including: ethanol producers, farmers, investors, the agriculture community, industry suppliers, rural electric cooperatives, and others supportive of the increased production and use of ethanol across America.

Anne Korin, Co-Director of the Institute for the Analysis of Global Security and the author of "Turning Oil Into Salt: Energy Independence Through Fuel Choice" will deliver the conference keynote speech.
