The ‘Ford Event Village’ will be the hub of CARnival, incorporating public catering, event merchandise, trade sites and a children’s entertainment precinct.

The sponsorship is timely for Ford as it celebrates the 50th Anniversary of the Ford Falcon.

Ford Performance Racing (FPR) will also form part of the partnership and will include appearances by Steven Richards and Mark Winterbottom in Echuca-Moama over the weekend before they head to Mt.Panorama for the annual Bathurst 1000 endurance classic.

General Manager of Events for Echuca-Moama Tourism, Pete White, said the partnership with Ford Australia added credibility to EMT’s shared vision with CAMS to build CARnival as Australia’s largest motoring and motor sport festival. “We look forward to developing this partnership over the approaching years,” he said.

CAMS CEO David Morgan added, “We are pleased to have Ford Australia on board for this event, Ford is such a big part of the Australian motor sport landscape and it is great to have their participation.”
