AUTO CENTRAL - July 4, 2010: According to statistics, applying make-up while driving is one of the leading causes of accidents, so why is it that you can't use your cell phone while driving without a hands-free device, you can't text your buddies, but it's okay for women to apply make-up while driving. How did this escape notice and restriction by the yentas that felt it was prudent to seek laws banning cell phone use?

Has this dangerous activity not been targeted because it only (mostly) pertains to just females and would be discriminatory since there isn't a equivalent male activity? Well. whatever the reason, it's time to clamp down on these women and make this dangerous behind-the-wheel distraction as big of an issue as not wearing seat belts or texting while driving.

Honk twice if you agree.
