MINNEAPOLIS, June 30 -- Several Tesla Roadster Sports will be available on July 2nd from 10am to 4 pm for viewing, and test-driving by qualified buyers. Prizes, including free test drives for the general public, will be available.

The Roadster Sport boasts super car performance without super car emissions. The hand-built, carbon fiber electric Roadster Sport accelerates from 0 - 60 mph in 3.7 seconds. The zero-emissions super car consumes no petroleum, plugs into conventional 120-volt sockets, and can drive 245 miles per charge. Tesla has delivered over 1,000 Roadsters to customers in 22 countries.

The Roadster requires less routine maintenance than conventional cars. It does not need regular oil changes or exhaust system work. Roadsters have no spark plugs, pistons, hoses, belts or clutches to replace. Tesla uniquely offers "house calls" so all customers can enjoy service from their home or office.
