WASHINGTON - May 6, 2010: Industrial biotechnology companies are exploring algae as a potential source of biofuels, chemicals, oils, animal feed and food ingredients. Executives from companies commercializing algae technology will discuss the status of the industry, market acceptance, and the need for government policy during the seventh annual World Congress on Industrial Biotechnology & Bioprocessing, June 27-30, 2010 in Washington, D.C.
