WEYBRIDGE, UNITED KINGDOM – April 13, 2010: Kia Motors (UK) Ltd is delighted to welcome Matthew Bendall to the Press Office team to provide cover now that Senior Press Officer Sue Mulcaster has departed on maternity leave.

Matthew has joined Kia from Renault UK – where he has worked for the last five years – and he is probably most familiar to the motoring media thanks to his role as Press Fleet and Events Manager.

At Kia, Matthew will be working with Jon Walsh to provide a steady stream of information, stories and opportunities for the motoring media and with Sara Drummond-Bell to provide an unrivalled service to the motoring media in general.

Matthew, 29, and a life-long passionate car enthusiast, said: “I’m delighted to be joining the Kia Press Office at such an exciting time for the company. I’m really looking forward to continue working with the motoring media and building upon the great experience I’ve gained over the last few years.”

Stephen Kitson, Communications Director at KMUK commented: “Sue is a hard act to follow but I am certain the Matthew is up to the challenge and will help us maintain our commitment to providing a professional, efficient and friendly service to everyone in the motoring media world. He is coming to us from one of the best operations in the business and I am certain that my old boss Tim Jackson will have knocked him into the very best of shape!

“We look forward to giving Matthew some new challenges and to giving him plenty of opportunity to work with our friends in the media in the very busy year ahead for Kia Motors,” he added.
