Honda unveils CB Twister in Kerala

Kerala remains one of the best markets for Honda motorcycles in the country and the company enjoys more than 24 per cent market share in the State, according to Mr A. Mohindroo, Vice-President (Purchase), Honda Motorcycle and Scooter India Pvt Ltd.

This year the company plans to sell 65,000 units in the State through a network of 16 dealers and 27 branches/sub-dealers, he said, speaking at the launch of the company's first mass segment bike CB Twister here on Tuesday. With the new product, Honda would strengthen its position further in the State market, he added.

Referring to the all-India market, he said the company plans to achieve 12.5 lakh sales this fiscal and cross the 15-lakh mark in 2010-11. Honda has constantly focussed on developing products that meet the expectations and aspirations of a large number of customers, he said.

The CB Twister will be available to customers by end of February. The new bike is equipped with 110 cc engine, delivering 9 BHP. It will be available in three variants, Kick Drum Alloy, Self Drum Alloy and Self Disc Alloy.
