Datalex’s Travel Distribution Platform Enables CarTrawler Multi Supplier Auto Rental for Frontier Airlines

DUBLIN--CarTrawler, the leading provider of multi supplier auto rental to airlines, will provide an integrated auto rental platform across Frontier’s direct channels. The solution was brought live using the Datalex Travel Distribution Platform.

“They can now receive competitive rental car rates while booking their Frontier tickets. We think they will appreciate the one-stop-shopping aspect of this.”

Frontier’s customers will be able to access a rich mix of all the top US rental car brands across all airports served by Frontier across all online touch-points as well as in the airline’s customer contact centre.

Following Datalex’s successful deployment of Frontiers’ AirFairs product, Datalex’s distribution platform has enabled the dynamic packaging of car rental options within the booking flow. “This provides additional value and another level of convenience for our customers,” said Frontier Marketing Director Kathie Dudas. “They can now receive competitive rental car rates while booking their Frontier tickets. We think they will appreciate the one-stop-shopping aspect of this.”

Datalex CEO Cormac Whelan commented: “Datalex identifies with Frontier Airlines’ pioneering advances to bring better value and more choice to customers. Having already integrated insurance into Frontier’s booking flow, the cross-sell of car hire enhances the customer value proposition, while maximising revenues for Frontier. TDP enables Frontier to control and manage the content presented to the customer. We are proud to be Frontier Airlines’ distribution technology provider of choice.”

CarTrawler’s Head of Sales Robin White remarked: “Frontier Airlines is our second major US airline signing this year and joins the fast growing list of retail minded airlines worldwide that have endorsed our solution as the leading auto rental offering for airlines and other online channels. The deal is an endorsement of our cutting edge technology which allows Frontier to offer a multi-supplier, neutral car hire offering. It will generate a better experience for Frontier’s customer as well as a significantly better revenue stream for the airline than that of a single supplier car rental offering.”
