Dana Point Concours d'Elegance Announces 2010 Event Date & Name Change

DANA POINT, Calif., Jan. 15, 2010 -- The Dana Point Concours d'Elegance (www.DanaPointConcours.org) announced today that the 2010 event will be held on Sunday, June 27 on the prestigious Monarch Beach Golf Links at the St. Regis Resort in Dana Point, California.

The first Concours was held in 1983 and was formerly called the ATSC Concours d'Elegance and the Newport Beach Concours d'Elegance. This year will be the third year the event will be held on the Monarch Beach Golf Links at the St. Regis Resort in Dana Point, California and the Concours organizing committee has officially changed the name of the event to the Dana Point Concours d'Elegance to properly reflect its new home. 2010 will mark the 28th Annual Dana Point Concours d'Elegance.

The Concours organizing committee will be releasing further information in the near future regarding ticket sales, exhibitor information and other supporting events.

The Dana Point Concours d'Elegance will take place on Sunday, June 27, 2010 on the prestigious Monarch Beach Golf Links at the St. Regis Resort in Dana Point, California. The Dana Point Concours d'Elegance is a volunteer-run, 501(c)3 not-for-profit organization, with proceeds supporting Southern California youth charities. The Dana Point Concours is operated primarily as a Classic Car Club of America (CCCA) Concours, with additional classes showcasing interesting and relevant automobiles. Southern California is the automotive culture capital of the world with a deep history in design, customization and motorsports.
