LAS VEGAS - January 7, 2010: Ford started off the Consumer Electronics Show (CESŪ) in a big way this morning. Ford President and Chief Executive Officer, Alan Mulally, delivered the opening keynote address at the event, and you can watch the speech live right here.

As the world’s largest consumer technology trade show, CES is where the makers of the latest electronic goodies go to show off their wares, and it’s where outstanding technology gains recognition.

“Alan Mulally has positioned Ford as a leading innovator in the automotive industry, and we are pleased to welcome him back to CES,” said Gary Shapiro, president and CEO, CEA. “For the auto industry and all other businesses that use technology, CES is the single must-attend event where business gets done.”

The event begin a bit late at about 11:45AM EST (8:45AM PST). After a rather ponderous opening speech from Gary Shapiro, CES' president, Alan Mulally took the stage. While the Ford presentation was quite ponderous in its own right, it was filled with many amazing technology announcements. Whether you're a tech-head or a gear-head it's worth investing the time to watch and listen to the Ford presentation.
