UNITED ARAB EMIRATES- December, 18... Luxgen, Taiwan's first automobile brand is making its global debut at the Dubai International Motor Show, taking place 16 - 20 December 2009 at the Dubai World Trade Centre. On display is the full line-up of 4 unique Luxgen vehicles scheduled to become available in the GCC from Q4 2010. These Luxgen vehicles combine luxury, style, state of the art technology and forward thinking engineering philosophy.

Luxgen vehicles are engineered to 'Think Ahead' for their drivers. Armed with advanced technology designed by Taiwan's global smart phone leader HTC, Luxgen vehicles are equipped with a suite of advanced features to preempt road conditions and potential hazards. All Luxgen vehicles feature a state of the art onboard computer system, dubbed the 'Think+', which, for the first time ever, combines HTC smart technology and Windows CE Automotive interface.

'Think+' boasts six main attractive features, including video and audio entertainment, telecommunication, GPS navigation, safety alerts, owner exclusive applications and system settings. Additionally, the vehicles also feature: Eagle View+ (a 360 degree surround imaging system), Night Vision+ (light-enhancing forward-looking camera system), Side View+ (Blind spot Monitoring System nod LDWS+ (Lane Departure Warning System).

Said Mr. Peter Chou, CEO of HTC: "HTC is proud to partner with Luxgen to create a new generation of intelligent vehicles. We have worked with Luxgen to develop a sophisticated Think+ system designed to 'think ahead' of the drivers to achieve a new level of road safety."

The inaugural Luxgen fleet consists of four vehicles, including the world's first 7-passenger electric vehicle (Luxgen EV+), a luxury executive transportation vehicle, (Luxgen CEO) plus a luxury MPV (Luxgen MPV) and a Luxury SUV (Luxgen7SUV).

The Luxgen brand was established by Taiwan's Yulon Group by combining Taiwan's highly advanced auto and IT industries.

The "IT+AUTO+ET", its core branding spirit, is what differentiates the Luxgen brand to best illustrate Taiwan's powerful R&D strength. "Taiwan's IT industry has been highly acknowledged around the world - we aspire to capitalize on that strength as an automaker and promote a Taiwanese automobile brand on the global stage" Mr. K.C.HU, CEO of Luxgen, said. "We are very proud to be taking part in the 10th Dubai International Motor Show and our participation marks a major milestone as the first step into the realm of the global automobile market, and a great chance to demonstrate the capabilities of our vehicles. At the Dubai International Motor Show we are showcasing the Luxgen7 MPV, Luxgen7 SUV, Luxgen CEO and also the first of its kind, an electric 7-passenger Luxgen EV+. We are confident these unique models will be very well received at the show and be the testaments of our brand's vision, which is to build genuinely inspiring, technologically advanced and eco-friendly vehicles."

Luxgen targets flourishing markets around the world such as the Middle East, and therefore, the Dubai International Motor Show is an ideal venue to launch the Luxgen brand for the first time outside of Taiwan. Moreover, Luxgen has been working together with a number of top-tier distributors in the GCC and is preparing to launch the Luxgen brand and vehicle in 2010 in the GCC.

Initially, the Luxgen MPV and Luxgen7 SUV will be available in the GCC markets, whilst the Luxgen CEO will be built-to-order according to the specific needs of prospective customers. The Luxgen CEO is equipped with a number of advanced features and offers uniquely spacious and luxurious interior appointments dedicated to offer the most comfortable traveling environment.
